All with One - One with All

(Excerpt from Debbi's anthology "Manifest Success: The Ultimate Guide to Creating the Life of Your Dreams"

"Starboard side!" I heard over the roar of the boat motor as I lay, belly down, on the bow of the speeding boat. As I reached my open palm into the warm gulf water, a jolt of energy rushed up my arm. There it was again, the smooth, cool skin of a dolphin. One after another, as if they were waiting in queue, dolphins surfed close enough to receive a loving stroke on their back, a human touch - my touch.

The day had been spent with our private dive master, diving and frolicking with a variety of underwater friends. Most notable was the nursery of baby seals, under the watchful eyes of their mothers, on a tiny island off the Mexican coast. The resemblance of these fun-loving creatures to our family pets was remarkable. As the babies would gently bite and shake our flippers, the adults would glide by our masks, making eye contact, as if peeking inside to see if they recognized their underwater guests.

As we made our way to dock, the fabulous multicolor sunset took my breath away, and I had that recurring knowing, I AM one with everything, everyone, under our heavens.

We Are All Connected

Imagine a world where everyone not only understood the significance of this but reflected it in their every thought, feeling, word, and action. We are all born with this innate knowing, this sense of oneness planted deep within us. And while we are individually the center and creator of our own physical world (our own chosen reality), spiritually and at a cellular level we are all connected. Each of us is an integral part of the greater universe in which we live and create together. Our completeness depends on one another. All that we think, feel, and do, will be, in some way, at some place and time, collectively realized. As we strengthen ourselves, we strengthen each other. What we reinforce in others we reinforce in ourselves. Recognition of this great ability and even greater responsibility empowers us to embrace our infinite potential, not only as individual human beings but also as a part of all humanity.

The awareness of this oneness and connection with everyone and everything is vital to your success as you run a business. As you create your business, you create an extension of yourself and a piece of the world. As you manage your business, you manage yourself and the universe. To serve yourself, you must serve others, because when you serve others, you ARE serving yourself.

It is only with the intention of more life to all and less to none that true success can be found. We each hold the ability to change the world - one thought, one action, one person, one cell at a time. Like ripples in a pond, everything we do creates a movement in the water and a momentum that affects the next ripple and the next ripples after that. The more attention we give to this throughout our everyday activities, the better our ability will be to multiply our efforts exponentially until, one day, our all of our efforts come together to form a giant wave of success.

Passion Is the Fuel

How do you best utilize your individual efforts to ripple the waters of the world? How do you keep that momentum moving into a wave of success? PASSION! Passion is found where your desires for others are equal to your desires for yourself. The embodiment of "love your neighbor as you love yourself," passion ignites you to create a better world for all. Passion fuels you throughout the journey. It is passion that you feel when you embrace your connection to and oneness with all. It is passion that leads to the most fulfilling and least resistant path to success. Your path to success lies within all that you do with passion.

No matter what your chosen field, your success will be measured by the value you provide to others. Realize, however, that in order to give value you must first have value. Value yourself above all else so that you will be able to give value to others. You must love yourself to give love. This kind of giving can't be done graciously when you are waiting for the love you are giving to be returned, because then you are giving out of the hope for reciprocation. If you unconditionally love yourself first, you can give without attachment, confident that you are deserving and already receiving all that you desire, with complete gratitude for already having it. This is the realization of your oneness and connection to each and every being. Loving your neighbor as yourself means loving yourself first and loving yourself - a lot!

More to All and Less to None

As you provide more to all and less to none, you can rest assured that you too are a part of the all. Look at every idea, product, or service that you have to offer and ask, "How can I provide greater service to more individuals? How can I add value to more lives with this product? How will all of this give more value to me?" The answers to these questions will always lead you to greater success.

Your connection to everyone and everything is infinite. There are no boundaries, no exceptions, and no limits. Every thought, every feeling, and every action you take has an effect on someone, something, somewhere. To this end, the least resistant path to success is one where you keep your thoughts, feelings, and actions aligned with your passion and your desire to serve and to love others just as you love yourself. Your thoughts inspire your feelings, and you are propelled into action. When all three (thoughts, feelings, and actions) are in agreement and in alignment, you experience an integrity that leads to inevitable success.

Imagine how seamlessly success would occur in your business if you thought only of how to serve others more, if you were endlessly passionate, and if every action was the direct result of this. Imagine how seamlessly success would come to you if you valued yourself enough to share yourself with others. This creates an unstoppable business. It never tires, it never fades, and it never dulls. It is true and complete in its integrity. This creates a business that changes the world.

With the intention of adding more life to all and less to none, we create the first ripples in the water that will lead to a wave of success - not only for ourselves but for all. The passion in our hearts fuels the momentum for an endless and effortless journey, while the integrity of our minds and the trueness of our actions multiply our efforts exponentially. Above all else, though, it is the recognition of our oneness with each other and our connection to all of life that provides us with the powerful foundation on which to build a fulfilling and purposeful life.
