If I could share 500 words to inspire, this is the important wisdom I'd want to pass along to others...
Each day is a new opportunity to have impact and influence in the universe. I ask the creator, how can I serve you today? If I can help somebody, then my living is not in vain.
Prayer, meditation, and deep breathing is my way of beginning and ending my day. I pray for the will of God, not my will, to be done.
I begin and end my day with gratitude. I am grateful for each moment in this journey called life. I am grateful for the mountain-top experiences as well as the low valleys. I have learned to ask, what is the lesson I am to learn? Because there is a lesson in everything. In all things, give thanks.
I have come to understand that there is a valid reason for everything that happens to me and I am responsible for everything that happens in my life. I am not what happens to me but what I choose to become. I look for the beauty in everything, the simple things like a bird in flight, an ant building an ant hill, a butterfly, a mother looking at her child, and a child learning to walk or ride a bike.
The golden rule "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is a universal principle. I have found this principle to assist in making daily decisions. It keeps me from seeking revenge when I am wronged, or reacting when I am misunderstood. Forgiveness frees me of regret, anger, and other emotions that stifle my existence.
I prefer to look for the good, laugh, love, and move forward. Laughter is the best medicine. I even have to learn to laugh at myself. I believe that each of us is born here for a purpose. I can't waste that time trying to be someone else. I must ask why I am here and listen for the answers. So relax and be the best you.
There are so many attributes of the creator. Each of us has at last one that we must manifest. We are here as caretakers and that begins with how we care about each other. I grew up in the South where love and compassion, hospitality and gratitude were instilled into me. There is not time for jealously or envy.
One of my favorite authors wrote, "be impeccable with your word". Another wrote "Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only". You know that I have heard by what I do.
I can't begin to express my gratitude for all those who have crossed my path and influenced and shaped my life. My best advice is to be true to YOU!
